Belmont's Revenge Poster Final

I did this poster as a Follow-up and companion piece to my Castlevania Adventure Poster.  After finishing the Adventure Poster I immediately knew I wanted to do this.  I immediately thought of an older, more grizzled Christopher Belmont.  I knew that I wanted Soleiyu (his son) to look more like Richter and the Later Design of the Belmonts, instead of the Super Manly-Conan-esque ones like Simon and Christopher and Trevor.  I drew Dracula in the same style as my Dracula from the CV Adventure Poster. but my favorite part of this I think was what I did with the 4 Castles. I was going to draw full on, colored Castles at first, but then halfway into drawing the first one, I got to thinking that they might be too dominant in the poster and kinda draw attention from Castlevania there in the middle, or compete so I decided to try another approach and went for the ink on parchment/map kind of look.  I think it was a decent solution.  and as for the enemies they were a blast to draw.  I loved drawing the Merman and also the Ball spitting thing with the razor sharp teeth.  the vampire zombies in the dark in the middle are my fav tho' they kinda give it an eerie feel.  (I got the idea from some of Kelly Jones's comic book art from the comic Batman/Dracula Red Rain).  His artwork is really creepy, gothic looking and amazing.  overall I am pretty happy with how this one turned out.  I have no idea when or if I'll do any of the other games next.  We will have to see.  I'm on to other projects now...lol Enjoy!
