Hey Guys!  Well I was hired to do a New Cover Photo for the Castlevania FB Group celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Castlevania and I labored on this particular piece for about 4 weeks, working non-stop at it in my off-hours from my actual job.  I wanted to bring in all the cool stuff that makes you think Castlevania and also celebrate the different Eras that we have seen in the series, Like the Original NES games, the Symphony of the Night era, and Lords of Shadow Era, right up to where we are now with the awesome new NETFLIX series.  I would say 90% of this is all new artwork. There is only one or two things that I recycled from older Castlevania Projects that I have done. a couple of my favorite parts of this new Picture are Simon Belmont and Juste Belmont, and I also love how Gabriel turned out, and the Classic Movie Monsters up at the top.  (Having the Monsters like that I kind of a Nod to the Monster Squad movie poster because you see the Classic Movie monsters arranged just like that at the top) ...Only mine look a bit more detailed and scary. lol but anyways Hope you all Enjoy this! I am gonna have prints available on my Etsy shop, and if you swing by the Castlevania FB group I am gonna feature a Album/gallery of all the seperate bits of art from the cover photo and sketch work that I did for it.

How we would like Konami to once again be that beloved company that develops great franchises created with so much passion and care with which we all grew up when acquiring such masterpieces that for years entertained millions and marked many generations, that great company that made us know good people video game developers who today are remembered for leaving us as a legacy their franchises that we pay so much tribute to.


Today, nothing has been heard from Castlevania, or Contra, or Metal Gear Solid, much less Silent Hill. Now Konami is seen with so much hatred and rejection by both new and old players, by canceling games from old franchises, adding micropayments, bringing back classic titles but in the worst way and firing Hideo Kojima (which we appreciate that he still continues with video game development but as an independent developer).



Another thing that is really hated so much about Konami today is having forgotten those franchises that have driven it to success, if it weren't for them right now Konami would not exist but sadly it is not even the shadow of what it once was. .



Hopefully Konami is renewed and if not then ... we will remember it as what it once was and not what it is today.
