Final Fantasy Summons Poster

This was a poster that kinda materialized out of nowhere.  I usually plan these things out, but this one began with me wanting to draw a cool picture of Ifrit, and then it kinda exploded from there.  This version of Ifrit is fairly original. It draws inspiration from a few different versions of him, most notably from the Final Fantasy BE and Final Fantasy 8, and Ramuh was based off of the artwork from Final Fantasy XIV. I'm not entirely sure where Shiva's design is from.  She was kind of harder to find good reference pics for.  but once I got all three drawn I got the idea for the overall set up and thought about how cool it would look to have a summoner at the bottom kinda summoning them in a beam of celestial type light.   The clouds in the background also have the shades of the respective summons around them if you look closely.  This was also a cool opportunity for me to draw in my favorite little Final Fantasy Creatures, Moogle, Cactuar, Tonberry, and Chocobo and put them in the border.  Overall I'm really happy with how this one has turned out.  For a poster that wasn't initially planned out, It's turned out pretty cool. I love these charactgers because they are the things that are the consistent things in the series. When you think of Final Fantasy, I'm sure you picture Cloud Strife or Images of Squall Leonhart, or the ONline FF games come to mind, but I wanted to do a poster of the lesser talked about elements that make the series great.  I love the Summons and little creatures that appear in all the games, and this is a poster celebrating them!   I'm gonna get some 11x17 prints made of this and also have large 24x36 size ones available in my etsy shop.  So, for all you Final Fantasy Fans...Enjoy!
